Newcastle Tai Chi offers regular weekly classes in a small group setting live on Zoom each week. This is perfect way to learn Tai Chi and Medical Qi Gong if you are unable to attend our regular Face-to-Face program. Our online program offers personal guidance by our chief instructor Damon Bramich with classes to suit your health interests and mobility needs.
Seated Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
This is a perfect class for people with mobility issues, chronic illness, recovering from major illnesses or just want to feel better and become a little stronger. This class goes for approximately 30 minutes and is mainly performed seated in a chair, with just a few exercises done standing. Standing exercises are optional and can be performed with support if needed.
Class time is 8am Tuesday Morning EST (Sydney) cost is $50 for a 4-week pass.
Tai Chi Qi Gong for Beginners
Great class for those wanting to learn to relax while exercising or improve health and balance. In this class the student learns the foundation of Traditional Tai Chi and its associated Qi Gong energy practices. Perfect for the beginner or regular Tai Chi player that wants to improve on the basics. This class goes for approximately 55 minutes
Class time 8.30am Thursday morning (EST Sydney) cost is $65 for a 4 week pass or $155 for a 10-week pass
Tai Chi Traditional Long Form Instruction
Experience the wonders of Tai Chi taught in the traditional way that has been handed down for generations. Damon teachers an interactive class were the students work on individual moves or form sections enhance their Tai Chi learning and experience. Class goes for approximately 60 minutes

In each class you will practise and learn a variety of easy practical techniques that help relax the body and mind. These movements stimulate circulation and digestion while assisting the natural restorative functions of the body. They will also improve natural breathing and focus on core strength and function (moving from your centre). Tai Chi or (Taiji Chuan) is known throughout the world for its amazing health benefits, as a gentle moving meditation and a unique martial art that uses softness to overcome hardness. Tai Chi is fun and easy to learn and has something to offer everyone. It requires no specialised equipment; just loose comfortable clothing and it can be practised anywhere.
Tai Chi’s simple, gentle, and safe fluid movements are exactly what the body needs to remain loose and flexible.
