In each class you will practice and learn a variety of easy practical techniques that help relax the body and mind. These movements stimulate circulation and digestion while assisting the natural restorative functions of the body. They will also improve natural breathing and focus on core strength and function (moving from your centre).
Newcastle Tai Chi offers a unique Tai Chi experience taught in the traditional way that has been handed down for generations.
The school offers individually tailored classes in a small group setting to enhance this experience.
The course can be done as an introductory course or as an ongoing Tai Chi exercise program.
If you miss a class, you can catch up at another venue.
Tai Chi or (Taiji Chuan) is known throughout the world for its amazing health benefits, as a gentle moving meditation and a unique martial art that uses softness to overcome hardness. Tai Chi is fun and easy to learn and has something to offer everyone.
Tai Chi requires no specialised equipment, just loose comfortable clothing, flat soled shoes are preferred but joggers are ok, and it can be practiced anywhere.
Tai Chi’s simple, gentle, and safe fluid movements are exactly what the body needs to remain loose and flexible.
Fees are for the Calander month if you miss a class you can catch up at another venue during this period.
